Cisco CUCM Firefox Secure Connection Failed

If you can’t get into the CUCM with the following message: “Secure Connection Failed: SSL_ERROR_WEAK_SERVER_EPHEMERAL_DH_KEY : Diffie-Hellman”

Workaround #1:

1. In Firefox, Enter “about:config” in the URL field and press enter
2. Accept the “This might void your warranty!” warning by clicking “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button
3. In the search field, enter “security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes
4. Double click each result (128 SHA and 256 SHA) to toggle the Value to “false”


Another Firefox Error:
Secure Connection Failed. An error occurred during a connection to <IP ADDRESS of CUCM>. SSL peer rejected a handshake message for unacceptable content. (Error code: ssl_error_illegal_parameter_alert)

Workaround #2:

1. In Firefox, Enter “about:config” in the URL field and press enter
2. Accept the “This might void your warranty!” warning by clicking “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button
3. In the search field, enter “security.tls
4. Edit security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts and add the <IP ADDRESS of CUCM>
5. Edit security.tls.version.fallback-limit set to 0
6. Edit security.tls.version.min and set to 0


What else could help – security.tcl.insecure_fallback_hosts.
